Iain Gale


Iain Gale is an author born in 1959, in central London who writes military novels. His first book Four Days In June, about the battle of Waterloo, was well received and acclaimed by Bernard Cornwell. As well as this novel, Gale has another series of books called the Jack Steel series, set in the times of the Duke of Marlborough. Gale is also the editor of the National Trust for Scotland magazine. He was art critic for Scotland on Sunday for twelve years, and prior to that, deputy art critic of The Independent, from 1990 ton 1996. He lives in Edinburgh with his three children Alexander,Ruaridh and India.He is also the writer of eleven non-fiction books.
